Best Time to Visit
The best time to explore the city is between October to March. During December and January, there can be extreme changes in temperatures during the day. Temperature can drop to as low as 0°C or below, this is the best time to explore the city.

How To Reach 'Udaipur'
Maharana Pratap Airport is the nearest airport from the city center about 25 km away. In addition to that daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai are also available, the city is also connected by highways and roads from every major metro city in India. Rail network is another option, which connected to all part of Rajasthan.

1) Udaipur City Palace
The City Palace is one of the great historic marvels of India on the shores of 'Lake Pichola'. This City Palace is the most attractive place for vacations and known as the largest complex in Rajasthan.  This city palace comprises of four primary and a few small palaces which consists of pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The major part of the castle is presently served as an exhibition hall showing state of art antiques.

2) Lake Palace in Udaipur
The Lake Palace was formally called Jag Niwas and served as a summer palace to royals, this palace was constructed on the Lake Pichola in the mid of 17 century, the walls of the palace is made of black and white marbles and are embellished with precious stones. The lake palace is now a hotel and it is recognized as most romantic hotel in the world.

3) Monsoon Palace
The monsoon palace was built on the Bansdara Mountain, Which offers spectacular views of the city from the skyline and offers a beautiful view of the sunset.

4) Shilpgram
Shlipgram is famous for rural arts and crafts festival in Udaipur and it’s a living museum which depicts the lifestyles of rural tribal folk. It is spread over 70 acres and surrounded by the Aravali mountains.

5) Lake Pichola
Pichola lake is famous for its breathtaking view from the boat ride. It is one of the oldest and largest lakes of the city.

6) Bagore Ki Haveli 
Bagore-ki-Haveli is situated by Lake Pichola, this gigantic palace has over a hundred rooms which exhibit modern art and costumes.

Kumbhalgarh festival
The Kumbhalgarh festival is the three-day festival in Kumbhalgarh Fort to promote the culture and heritage of Rajasthan. It’s a day and a night festival in the daytime, traditional artist performs folk performances and in the night  it is filled with lights, sound and dance.

Shopping Paradise
The city has innumerable number of small and big showrooms which offers extensive variety of handicrafts, wooden toys, antique items and paintings. The city is acclaimed for its miniature paintings which are inspired from spirit of Rajputs & Mughals.
